"Remoteness – Journeys to the Oceans' edge" was born from the desire to set sail towards uncontaminated islands to give voice to small local communities, documenting with photographic and video reports the challenges they face due to ocean pollution and climate change." This pair of Portland belongs to Peter. "I used to wear them when I was in my twenties and now that I'm 65 I cannot count how many Sebago I've worn over the years. The only thing that has never changed is a sort of ritual: I walk into the sea water with my brand new shoes on and then I rinse them under fresh water.
