Celebrate Pride Month
June is Pride Month. This annual commemoration pays homage to the 1969 Stonewall uprising in Manhattan, N.Y. which served as a defining moment for the Gay Liberation Movement in the United States. Pride Month celebrates the invaluable contributions of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and questioning (LGBTQ) Americans and works to achieve equal justice and equal opportunity for this community.
